One of the greatest movies I’ve seen in a while. I went into this with no preconceived notions, and while I was a little worried about the lengthy running time, I was so engrossed in the movie that it seemed to last five minutes! The settings looked stunning, the music was great, and all of the actors were amazing! They sang live during filming, which must have taken extraordinary ability, according to what I read online after seeing the movie. I hope this movie receives the praise it merits. Like the Wizard of Oz, I believe it will become a classic that we will watch every Christmas.
Even for those who haven’t seen Gregory Maguire’s novel or the original musical, Wicked is a masterpiece of film that offers a memorable experience. The narrative engrosses audiences right away, transporting them to the colorful and intricate realm of Oz. As Glinda, Ariana Grande excels, demonstrating her dual skill as an actor and a phenomenal voice. Her portrayal of the role adds depth and comedy, and it blends in well with the other actors. Speaking of genius, Cynthia Erivo’s performance as Elphaba is just outstanding; her powerful voice and unadulterated emotion are worthy of an Oscar.
The Wicked film never lags in spite of its long duration. Each scene is masterfully composed, with breathtaking images, catchy tunes, and a narrative that moves at a steady pace to keep viewers interested. The picture skillfully strikes a mix of humor, drama, and emotion, leaving audiences wanting more. We can’t wait for Part 2 via the Myflixer movie website!
