First Man 2018
The future Neil Armstrong (Ryan Gosling), first man on the moon, and his teammates Apollo Program are wrapped in isolated suits with bags to catch their body waste, tied to narrow seats, wait for hours or days to retire to take off, then spend a few minutes shaking and rolling. The vibrations of the trip shake their bones and the noise burns their eardrums. There may be a brief moment of beauty or peace, along with a sideways glance through a window of blue earth, the grayish white moon or the darkness of space, but that's usually all the aesthetic pleasure they get, and maybe everything they need. You can handle. They spend most of their mental energy studying the instrument panels in front of them and trying to process the information that is being fed through their headphones by controlling the mission, knowing that an omitted fact or a wrong choice could mean their death.
